GAIA Memory V1 is complete and available in production
By ELESSAR
GAIA now has a privacy-first memory: entirely optional, switchable at any time, and fully visible in a transparent memory ledger.
With Memory V1, GAIA has a privacy-first memory of its own for the first time, available in production from today. GAIA can remember individual pieces of information from conversations and draw on them later as personal context, instead of starting every conversation from zero.
Control stays entirely with the people using it. Memory is deliberately opt-in: it only becomes active when it is switched on explicitly, and it can be paused or disabled again at any time. Everything GAIA has stored is visible in the memory ledger and can be managed or deleted there entry by entry. The system works GDPR-compliant with full consent management.
A PDF export has been added as well, so whole conversations or compact summaries can be kept as a document.
This creates the basis for a more personal kind of companionship that takes your own context into account over time. GAIA stays within its role: it puts things in context and accompanies, it does not diagnose and does not make medical decisions.
